Establishing Snoobi in Sweden.
My task was to establish Snoobi as a brand, establish a partner network as well as sell directly to Swedish Customers.
Snoobi is a big company in our Industry in Finland that had an excellent web analytic tool suited for small to medium sized businesses.
During my time at Snoobi we got 30 new customers in the small to medium sized range that especially liked two things about the tool; 1. The ability to follow individual companies activities on the website & 2. The ability to create a reporting structure within a company to continuously feed them with web analytic data.
At our peak we were 4 sales & marketing people in the Swedish office that managed to get a solid pipeline of trial accounts for Snoobi.
What we didn't know before the Swedish launch of Snoobi was how big emphasis Google was going to put into Google Analytics. At the end of 2011 it was obvious for us all that we couldn't compete successfully with a paid tool which made it necessary to close down our office.
I had a great time with a great time of professionals. Snoobi has since the fall of 2011 shifted focus from selling the tool to selling web analytic service regardless of the customers tool needs.
